Who is an Agniveer?
The Agniveers are the people who enlist in the armed forces through the Agnipath scheme. They will be employed for a total of four years. An Agniveer is a collective movement of brave warriors dedicated to the worship of this purifying Agni alone through thoughts, words, and actions in self and society. An Agniveer symbolizes the efforts of souls marching together towards the ultimate goal by destroying ego and falsehood and focusing only on the proper knowledge, right actions, and exemplary devotion.
Career Scope of an Agniveer
Indian Armed Forces are the only Recruiter of Agniveers in India. There is no employment in the private sector. Under the scheme, the Agniveers will be allowed to serve the Indian armed forces for four years. After completing 4 years of service, 25% of the Agniveers will be selected for the permanent commission for further 15 years based on merit and Organization needs.
Salary/Income of an Agniveer
The Agniveers will get an initial salary of Rs 30,000 and additional benefits. This benefit will reach Rs 40,000 by the end of four years of service. The Agniveers will get a customized monthly package which will increase from the first year to the fourth year of service in the Indian armed forces. For the first year of the service, the Agni Veer will get a 30000 customized monthly salary, from which 30% will be contributed to saving energy, and the net in-hand salary will be 21000 rupees. Seva Nidhi package will be 11.71 lakhs after four years of service.

12th with PCM with 50 % marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
- To become an AGNIVEER, Candidate has to register and qualify Indian Army Agnipath Online Written Common Entrance Exam (CEE).
- The candidate should be between 17½ to 21 years of age on the first day of the month the course starts.
- Under this scheme, both men and women can apply. There is no specific age reservation for women.
- Agnipath Scheme is the new recruitment scheme published by the government of India to recruit candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force as Agniveers.
- The enrolment will be based on an ‘All India All Class’ basis,
