Graduation/Post Graduation from Commerce Stream (atleast 55% marks) or Graduation/Post Graduation from any other Stream (atleast 60% marks) from a Recognized University   

 

  • The candidate must be a Graduation/Post Graduation from Commerce Stream (at least 55% marks) or Graduation/Post-Graduation from any other Stream (at least 60% marks) from a recognized university.
  • If a candidate is in their final year, then can also apply for provisional registration to the CA Intermediate Course. The candidate can complete Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) during provisional registration. It is clarified that the practical training will commence only on becoming a graduate with a specified percentage of marks in their case.
  • A candidate who has completed any graduation degree can register for the CA Intermediate Course through ICAI Direct entry scheme.

 

 

Register and Qualify for CS Executive Course   
  • After Clearing the CS Foundation Course, Students must register for the CS Executive course. CS Executive is the second stage to clear CS.

  • CS Executive Course Exam is conducted twice a year, in June and December. Registration is done on or before 28th February or 31st August, respectively.

  • During the Executive course, Candidates must complete a nine-month study period to appear for the Executive course exam.

  • Students will learn about commercial law, company law, general law, tax law, accounts, and audit practice, and securities law.

Register and Qualify for CS Professional Course   
  • CS Professional Course is the final course to clear CS. After completing the CS Foundation Course (First Stage) and the CS Executive Course (Second Stage), the last step is the CS Professional course.
  • The company secretary program lasts three years; the first two courses combine for 15 months. The CS professional course is equal to the period of the first two, i.e., 15 months.
  • CS Professional Course Exam is conducted twice yearly, in June and December. Registration is done on or before 28th February or 31st August, respectively.
  • During the Professional course, Candidates must complete a fifteen-month study period to appear for the Professional course exam.

Complete Short-Term Practical Training(PT)   
  • After completing all the courses, students must go for short-term practical training.
  • Students must complete training with companies registered with the Company Secretary in Practice or the ICSI Institute.
  • Students must go for training during the executive course and after the professional course of the CS course. This training is compulsory to obtain an Associate Membership of ICAI.

  • Students of all ages can apply for the CS foundation course. 

  • CS Foundation Exam is conducted twice yearly, in June and December. Registration is done on or before 31st March or 30th September, respectively.

  • During the Foundation course, Candidates must complete an eight-month study period to appear for the foundation course exam.

  • Students will learn about entrepreneurship, management, business environment, ethics, accounting, and economics.
